Principle 1. When we eat foods that nourish are body (yin) and foods that cleanse (yang) the body, we are able to achieve a harmonious balance for optimal health. This is the Philosophy of Regeneration, and is based upon thousands of years of Chinese research.
Principle 2. It is also important to remember that our bodies were designed to recognize foods, not chemicals, as nourishment. We are meant to eat whole foods like beans and oranges, not isolated chemicals (i.e., isolated vitamin C caps).
Principle 3: Our bodies need variety. Each type of food or nutrient has advantages and disadvantages. Because no ingredient can do everything, our bodies require a variety of complementary foods and nutrients to maintain balance and optimal health.
Principle 4: It takes expertise to know how to grow, concentrate and formulate safe herbal products that provide superior nutrition. When I first began to include herbal foods and teas in my everyday routines, we didn't have the internet. It took almost two weeks for my order to be received and delivered via the U.S. Postal service or private ground delivery services. As a result, when I was in a pinch, I tried purchasing herbal products from my local health food store in hope that they would help me in the same way, or support my body until my order arrived. I was disappointed time and time again, and discovered the difference in the quality and the importance of owner's expertise.
